Saturday 13th February 2010 saw Forest School's Sport Hall being transformed into a 144sq metre rink by their dedicated 4-man team who worked continuously to install the rink. Excited families & friends of all ages were gliding across the floor to the sound of background music with the added attraction of the snow machine. Everyone was impressed especially the younger skaters when "Peter The Penguin" made his appearance. Feedback from parents & Children were very positive with many now wanting to further their new found interest at the local ice rink. It was exciting new event for our school & we would definitely consider another event in the future.

Just to let you know what a success our christmas fair was. The rink certainly drew in the crowds and the children had a fantastic time-an ice rink in their own Playground!
We have had lots of feedback from Parents, Children and people in the village and surrounding areas on how great the day was. I've even been phoned by other schools in the area that photos of us in the local press. I've passed on your details so you should be hearing from them shortly.
We'll certainly do it again - although other neighbouring schools may want a turn next year.
Your staff were brilliant, please pass on my thanks to them. They worked tirelessly in the morning to help us clear the snow and ice from the playground before they could lay the rink, and then again in the dismantling of it in the snow and dark.

Many Thanks for providing an entertaining and professional service for the 2009 Warsop Christmas Market. The Ice skating rink was a great success and really made the event special. The Ice rink was brilliant your guys arrived on time and did a great job getting it up and running in time for the event. The ice rink was incredibly popular-a real attraction for the event. I was the Police Sergeant on duty for Ecclesfield SNA when the rink was on Margeston Crescent. I was impressed by the number of local young people who turned up and the enthusiasm they showed when using the ice rink. It certainly was a focal point within the Parson Cross area. All who used it were in good spirits, and I would say that the rink being there helped to promote relations between local young people and local police officers and community support officers. I dont think it was a cooincidence that the level of anti-social behaviour in the area was extremely low for the time of year, and we would not hesitate to use your services again. Al we had to do was make the booking and everything else was taken care of by your staff and the whole event ran very smooth. Thank you again

Dyke House, Stranton and Grange Halloween Event
I am writing to thank you for your organisation's contribution to the Halloween Event that took place on Saturday 31 October 2009 at Brougham Centre.The event proved to be a great success and it has been estimated that over 600people attended on the day.  This afforded us the opportunity to interact with local residents and gauge their opinion on the issues that affected their daily lives.  The information that we have gathered will be used to update the Dyke House / Stranton / Grange Neighbourhood Action Plan (NAP) which will strive to improve the quality of living for all its local residents.The contribution from your organisation was a well received aspect of the community event.  The ice skating proved to be very popular and we had some really positive feedback from the attendees.

The provision of ice skating facilities at the consultation event proved to be extremely popular with all age groups.  We choose ice skating as one of the main attractions, as this provision is not available locally.  We hoped that it would encourage people to come along from a neighbourhood, where historically, it is difficult to get people involved.  It certainly seemed to work as over 600 people attended.  ‘Get Ya Skates On’ provided an exceptional service from the early stages of booking the activity through to the delivery on the day.  Get Ya Skates On has been hired to provide further skating provision in Hartlepool in the coming months, which is testament to the company.

Can I thank you and your workers for all the help and support that was given which enabled the young people in the south area of Knowsley  in October half term to enjoy the Ice rink this was delivered  in three areas and  there was attendance of over 500 this included parents who were amazed by the whole events , Peter the penguin went down well also , it was   one of the best events that we as a youth service have been able to put on it has been well received by our local councillors' and we have had letters of congratulations' from local residents , police have also said that they feel it had in fact been helpful in reducing anti social behave through out that week in October there was a 50% reduction in  call outs ,So once again thank you and your team for all help and supoort given I will say that nothing was two much trouble for them.

I would like to thank you and your team for the ice rink this weekend in Ashington. The lads were superb all weekend, and set world record times for erecting and dismantling the rink. (up : just over two hours, down : one hour twenty minutes)The event was extremely popular and the rink was full constantly over the three days. We have on two occasions entered in to contracts and hired a portable ice rink from Get Ya Skates On Ltd. On both occasions we have been very happy and pleased with what was provided. The rink was clean, undamaged and looked very smart.  The four rink staff that came and managed the rink for us, could not have been more helpful, enthusiastic, and interested in helping people enjoy themselves. Everyone who used your ice rink had a fantastic time! they loved the snow and Peter the Penguin.  The lads were extremely helpful and arrived promptly in the morning, throughout the event they worked very hard even clearing the site very efficiently, even though it was dark.
We will be booking again next year, and i would not hesitate in recommending your company to anyone. I have actually passed your details to a couple of people already-The local police officers are looking at hiring an ice rink for a youth event and a local primary school.

Our community decided to opt for an ice rink this year. We were and still are very pleased with the way the day went. Without the ice rink I dont think the day would have been so good. Not only were we provided with a first class service, we were also provied with a product that exceeded our expectations. The crew who run the rink were a true credit to your company, they were always on hand to give us any advice we needed on sessions etc. Even though the rink was busy they always managed a laugh and a smile. Its good when a company employs staff who enjoy there work, it makes the whole event easier than it should be. Thank you Emma and the team for your hard and excellent work.

Having booked a rink for our venue on Bank holiday was a risk. However we ended up having a great day. The staff from Get Ya Skates On were great at their jobs, and with the public. I am now working on bringing the rink back at Christmas. The concept of Synthetic ice rinks is fantastic.

Having booked a rink from Get Ya Skates On Ltd for our Gala we really ended up being overwhelmed by the company. The staff who built and run the rink were excellent in both tasks. Nothing at all was too much trouble, they had the time and experience to be able to advice us throughout the day on everything we asked. The office staff were always on hand before and after the event to answer our questions. We were given 100% advice everytime we asked a question. Children and adults who used the rink were impressed with the rink and their skating experience. I really could go on and on with my positives for Get Ya Skates On. I will say that my whole experience with everyone connected to Get Ya Skates On was "BRILLIANT" I would recommend them to anyone and will definatly use them again.

FANTASTIC! Get Ya Skates On exceeded all our expectations and much much more. The crew who installed and ran the rink were very well organised, friendly, helpful and extremly good to get along with. Nothing was too much trouble. The synthetic ice rink contributed to our annual Gala and children and adults loved it. Everytime I came over to the rink  I saw happy smiling faces. We booked a synthetic ice rink for a day from Get Ya Skates On Ltd. The ice rink was a huge success, and was busy the whole day. The crew provided were very good at their jobs and run the rink very smoothly. As a police force we have to make sure everything is 100% and we were very impressed with every aspect of Get Ya Skates On Ltd. They as a company take Health and Safety very serious and it was good to see this in action throughout the day. The crew ran the rink so everyone enjoyed it, and at the same time making sure no one was injured. We are now looking at bringing the rink back for next year. Thank you Get Ya Skates On Ltd.

We decided to book a mobile ice rink for a week at our school and chose Get Ya Skates On Ltd to provide the rink. We were over the moon to say the least with everything about the company and service provided. The 3 crew members who ran the rink were fantastic, it was good to see the crew were able to skate and put on mini demonstrations, and show non skaters the basic steps. The weather was fantastic and the week went without any glitches. I would like to say a big thank you to the crew James. This was the first time Elstree had hired a synthetic ice rink. We found the dealings with Get Ya Skates On Ltd very smooth and professional.
