Our community decided to opt for an ice rink this year. We were and still are very pleased with the way the day went. Without the ice rink I dont think the day would have been so good. Not only were we provided with a first class service, we were also provied with a product that exceeded our expectations. The crew who run the rink were a true credit to your company, they were always on hand to give us any advice we needed on sessions etc. Even though the rink was busy they always managed a laugh and a smile. Having booked a rink from Get Ya Skates On Ltd for our Gala we really ended up being overwhelmed by the company. The staff who built and run the rink were excellent in both tasks. Nothing at all was too much trouble, they had the time and experience to be able to advice us throughout the day on everything we asked. The office staff were always on hand before and after the event to answer our questions. We were given 100% advice everytime we asked a question. Children and adults who used the rink were impressed with the rink and their skating experience. I really could go on and on with my positives for Get Ya Skates On. We booked a synthetic ice rink for a day from Get Ya Skates On Ltd. The ice rink was a huge success, and was busy the whole day. The crew provided were very good at their jobs and run the rink very smoothly. As a police force we have to make sure everything is 100% and we were very impressed with every aspect of Get Ya Skates On Ltd. They as a company take Health and Safety very serious and it was good to see this in action throughout the day. We decided to book a mobile ice rink for a week at our school and chose Get Ya Skates On Ltd to provide the rink. We were over the moon to say the least with everything about the company and service provided. We have used Get Ya Skates On Ltd a number of times now, and each time we use them they exceed expectations. At each event were we have used the synthetic ice rinks we have had in excess of over 200 children use the ice rinks at each event. There is always boots in every size, plenty of sftaff and a first aider. The service that we are provided with every time is outstanding, from the disco and snow machine, to the paper work and the way the staff present themselves and set up the mobile ice rinks. Each time they come it is a guarantee that everyone involved is going to have a good time.

St Georges Hall (Liverpool) hosted an ice rink inside the building in the iconic Great Hall, and were delighted with the infrastructure and professionalism of "get ya skates on" in managing the whole event.  The staff from "Get ya skates on" were able to manage an extremely intesive programme of skating over the two week period in a very proactive, professional and positive manner. The staff dealt with and managed all items relating to the rink and, through their diligence and experience, were able to make skating in the Great Hall a once in a lifetime experience. Everything went really well - the ice rink was full for the first five hours and fairly steady for a couple of hours after that!  Because we had the ice rink paid for by sponsors, we managed to raise a couple of thousand pounds from the whole event. The children in Tredegar had a whale of a time - we didn't have a complaint from anyone all day!  We'd love to have the rink, possibly the larger one, back as part of our planned winter wonderland day in December.

Our organisation is working on the regeneration of the seaside town of Morecambe, Lancashire.  As part of this programme we booked 'Get Ya Skates On' to run a synthetic ice rink in the run up to Christmas 2007. This was something of a gamble for us, as we had never tried anything like this before.
However, everything went very smoothly and the rink proved to be a most popular attraction.  It was heavily used and attracted a lot of media attention.  The staff were amenable to any suggestions we made, such as special arrangements for local schools, and were courteous and helpful at all times. As organisers of the first ever 'Dreams Weekend', in aid of the charity Dreams Come True which was held in Lymington in December 2007, I wanted to write to say how professional, reliable and likeable we found your team and your business. Our concept is based on transforming a whole town into a community-Disneyland with all the local businesses running themed fundraising activities in fancy dress. Despite gale force winds and rain during the weekend we raised a staggering £15,000 or more for the charity and one of the greatest draws to the town that weekend was your rink where even in torrential rain the kids skated happily without batting an eyelid.. Our success that weekend was in no small part greatly assisted by the fact that you and your guys were always smiling and running a safe and enjoyable environment which drew in the crowds but didn't require us to divert attention away from raising money. We have already had several enquiries for us to help other towns organise a Dreams Weekend (as well as various Town Portal franchise enquiries) as a direct result, and I will be in touch in a few weeks about these and of course the Lymington one next year!

The ice rink in Saltburn By The Sea was a huge success with over 850 chlidren taking part over the weekend. They loved it, and it was a joy to see so many happy and laughing children of all ages having fun together. It was the perfect start to the Christmas festivities.

I just wanted to say thank you for agreeing to bring your Ice Rink to Merthyr Tydfil last weekend. It was a fantastic Day, we were incredibly impressed with the quality and safety of the rink (especially when the CIF came out. it was the first time we had ever seen a man clean!)  The staff were helpful with the children giving them tips and helping them out as many were first timers.  The added extra's of the music, snow machine and of course Peter the 6 foot Penguin just rounded off a brilliant day. I would have no hesitation in booking the rink again and would recommend your services to all.  I cant wait till next time.

To open the new season at Barnsley Football club, we decided to bring back the ice rink to Oakwell.  To transform a carpark into a skating arena was fantastic. The Get Ya Skates On Ice Rink proved a huge success - we are really pleased we went for it. Most of the children and young people who used it had never put a pair of ice skates on before, and were really excited about this opportunity. The Burngreave Sports Development Project hired a mobile ice rink from GYSO for a reward event for local primary school children. It was a great day that was enjoyed by all that attended, with great feedback from teachers and children. Over the year I get a budget to put various events on.  booking an ice rink was really ambitous for us, however it turned out to be a sound choice, Get Ya Skates On Ltd, not only offered us a unique service, they gave us superb staff who made sure everyone had a fantastic time. We actually had over 300 skaters on the rink.   I am  now in the process of working out the next time I will be having a mobile ice rink.
